Pastry Chef- Selvia Tjandra-Stothers @mixingbowl

For all dessert lovers,  we have teamed up with Pastry chef Selvia for her gorgeous cakes. Selvia is a trained pastry chef and a plant-based food blogger whose primary passion is creating balanced, home-cooked meals accessible for clients. Growing up on Java Island, Indonesia, her love for food started in her own mother’s kitchen at home, where she learned to bake and cook from scratch using fresh and local produce from the market.

She came to New York in 2001 and went to The Art Institute of New York City, ICC, and ICE to learn about baking. After 15 years worked at restaurants and five star hotels in New York City, Selvia started her baking journey by offering custom cakes and dessert to her clients throughout Westchester County. She also learned about nutrition and Ayurvedic style cooking. Hence she is also specialized for Gluten-free, and Vegan dessert.
